SEEKING:  QA Lead

We are looking for an experienced QALead who embodies both the spirit of mentorship and the acumen of a seasonedleader. The QA Leadwill helm a team of 3 QA specialists.

This role demands not just fluencyin English and a command over manual and automated testing techniques, but alsoa profound capability to initiate, oversee, and bring projects across thefinish line with unparalleled quality standards.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

Core Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution: Craft comprehensive test plans that detail thetesting schedule, methodologies, and requirements to ensure the delivery ofvaluable insights to stakeholders. Lead by example in executing tests as perthe plan, working closely with developers to anticipate changes and addressbugs promptly.

Project Kickstarting and Leadership:

Spearhead the QA aspect of projectinitiation, collaborating closely with the development team to determinetesting needs early on. Manage and oversee the entire testing lifecycle,ensuring seamless progress and the highest quality outcomes.

Process Improvement andDocumentation:

Conduct thorough audits of existingtesting processes, leading training sessions and creating enhancements based onbest practices. Review and maintain test documentation for accuracy,comprehensiveness, and compliance with all relevant standards.

Feedback and Reporting:

Provide critical feedback andsuggestions to developers and other stakeholders, aimed at elevating productquality. Regularly report on testing outcomes, issues encountered, and theresolution process to enable informed decision-making by management.

Stakeholder Collaboration and TestClosure:

Engage in productive collaborationwith all company stakeholders to align on expectations and deliverables. Ensuremeticulous test closure procedures are in place, verifying that products meetthe highest quality standards pre-release.

Metrics and Tracking:

Establish and maintain trackingmetrics to document every aspect of the testing process, facilitating futurereplication and continuous improvement.
 

Experience, Knowledge& Skills :

● Proven leadership experience inQA, with a solid track record of mentoring teams and leading successfulprojects.

● Expertise in both manual andautomated testing, including performance testing.
● Proficiency in test plan creation, documentation review, and test execution.
● Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
● Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
● Certifications in Quality Assurance, Agile methodologies, or ProjectManagement.
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
● Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Education :

● Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, or related field

Language :

● Fluent in English with exceptionalcommunication skills.

WE OFFER: 

·         Full-time Freelance contract

·         Rate: €240 / €264 per day + VAT (according tothe experience provided)

·         Long-Term Project (mínimum 5 years)

·         Location: Spain - 100% teleworking
