SEEKING:  DBA Cloud

We are looking for a profesionalwith solid experience  as anOracle/SQL/Postgres/MySQL production and development DBA. With Cloudexperience, Preferably Google Cloud Platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES& TASKS :

● Design,develop and deploy automation systems for administration and data-handlingtasks.
● Maintaindatabase and data warehouse on premise and cloud environments. Implement tool upgradesand patches.
● Migratelegacy databases to the Cloud.
● Execute andtranslate into operational excellence the database architecture roadmaps and specificplans to implement them
● Databasecapacity planning, version upgrades and migrations
● Proactivelymonitor production database systems, analyze findings, formulate recommendations,and work with the database Architect to implement recommendation
● Ensuredatabase standards are followed and implemented
● Usage ofnew database features
● Patchtesting and deployment
● Performanceand scalability goals
● Highavailability and disaster recovery goals
● Datasecurity and protection
● Functionality, stress, and load testing
● Reviewprocedures and technical documentation
● Work tomeet project deadlines, accommodate demands by users, set priorities, organize informationand escalate issues appropriately
● Participation in multiple projects concurrently.
● Discussdesigns and implementation with technical groups about

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE& SKILLS :

► 3+ years’ experience as an Oracle/SQL/Postgres/MySQL production anddevelopment DBA.
► Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure/etc)  -> Preferably Google CloudPlatform
► Scripting and tuning
► Linux
► DB Tools/Utilities (e.g., Toad, Enterprise Manager, SQL Developer, RMAN,EXPDP etc.)
► Compliance and ITIL initiatives (SOX, PCI, etc.)

LANGUAGE :

● Fluent English and Spanish (B2Level)

WE OFFER: 

·         Full-time Freelance contract

·         Rate: €240/€270 per day + VAT (according to theexperience provided)

·         Location: Madrid – Hybrid  (In-person 2 to 4 days a week)
